We offer the possibility of bullfighing as part of a Tienta. After the cow has been
tested briefly by a professional bullfighter, the members of the group can take the
opportunity to bullfight themselves.
There are two ways in which they can bullfight: one is bullfighiting "al alimón", in
which the cow is fought with a cape held between two people, the cow passing in between
them.
Al alimón is very easy, and
|
the other person being a professional, the risk of
harm is really very small. Only in the case that the person were to fall, would there
be a significant likelihood that they would be caught by the cow.
The other way, is to bullfight proper, with the red cloth. In this way, although we do
provide a few directions on what to do, the person bullfighting is totally on their own,
which is the object and thrill of bullfighting.
Although serious injuries are
|
very unlikely,
if the person bullfighting has never done it before, it is likely that they be hit, and be
bruised. If we see that harm is likely, we do not allow the person to bullfight.
In all cases, the responsibility of any harm is fully and exclusively of the person that
decides to bullfight, and neither the owner of the farm nor the owner of the cow or bull,
nor the organizer of the event can be held responsible nor claimed for any damages whatsoever
for any reason or to any amount.
